Arab Rioters Ambush Jewish Resident of Giv’at Gefen Ami in a Suspected Lynch Attempt

A Jewish resident of Giv’at Gefen Ami, a small agricultural outpost established in 2025 near Beit Ummar in Gush Etzion, was ambushed by Arab rioters in what was described as a planned lynch attempt.

The resident was traveling along the western access road from  Route 60 when he encountered a barricade of stones blocking his path. As he exited his vehicle, rioters hiding in nearby orchards attacked him with stones.

The resident called security forces, but before they arrived, fellow outpost residents confronted the attackers, whose numbers reportedly swelled to approximately 200, and drove them back toward Beit Ummar.

Footage showed rioters using slingshots, with one resident struck in the abdomen. Additional roadblocks were erected using burning tires. IDF forces subsequently searched the area, but no arrests were reported.
