Former U.S. Ambassador to Israel, David Friedman Visits the Hilltops

by Elisha Yered, Settlement Activist

We were pleased to host former U.S. Ambassador to Israel, David Friedman, for an introductory meeting with activists in the hilltops, who shared the challenges they face both on the ground and in the public arena.

David M. Friedman is an American bankruptcy lawyer and diplomat who served as the United States Ambassador to Israel from 2017 to 2021 under President Donald Trump. He chose to hold the meeting this week at the home of Roeh Ze’ev—one of the key activists in the Tel Talpiot hilltop community—who for the past several weeks has been disgracefully held under administrative house arrest signed by Major General Bluth.

Mr. Friedman is a true friend of the pioneering settlement movement and one of the few who do not hesitate to speak out in the media against the frequent blood libels, fearlessly standing alongside those who love the land.

Thank you for your support of the hilltop movement and for your long-standing assistance to the settlement community as a whole.
