Stabbing victim Netanel Jacobs recounts the dramatic moments from the Maoz Yehuda terrorist attack

On 25 Elul, Netanel Jacobs was stabbed in a terrorist attack at Maoz Yehuda in Samaria. From his bed at Beilinson Hospital he described the fight: He punched and pushed the attacker, and both men fell. He tried to grab a stone on the ground but could not reach it. The knife broke; the attacker kept stabbing with the remaining blade. Jacobs choked him until the man broke free and ran to his car. Jacobs chased him with a stone, then saw he was bleeding from wounds to the head, neck, and hand.

His parents, Avdiel and Penina, thanked G-d that on the day tradition marks the creation of the world their son was, in effect, born again: His condition is good and stable. They said his courage and G-d’s miracles prevented a worse outcome. They called on the IDF and Israel’s leaders to act harshly against any village that sends out a murderer: Demolish homes, confiscate weapons, and drop routine measures, adding that the attack also shows why farms matter: They hold open land and keep terrorists away from the communities.

Pray for a full recovery for Netanel ben Penina.
