Operation “Olive Leaf”: Jews Arrested, Arab Stone-Throwers Walk Free
I hear the police and Shin Bet have launched Operation “Olive Leaf” to arrest Jews over the olive harvest incidents.
Here’s a small collection (above) of Arabs with uncovered faces throwing stones at last weekend’s events in Burqa and Deir Jarir. Plenty more had covered faces. In Khirbet Abu Falah and Turmus Ayya there were dozens more.
Meanwhile, about 10 Jews of Judea and Samaria were arrested yesterday. Honenu lawyers are representing them and call it another blood libel — “the mountain will give birth to a mouse.”
Seven remain in custody for two more days; three were released to house arrest. Lawyers say it was a wholesale roundup of anyone in the area last Shabbat, with zero evidence against them. One detainee is a medic who was treating the wounded and has a solid, real-time alibi — yet he was still locked up.
The French diplomat wasn’t even injured and filed no complaint. No proof links any detainee to an assault on the American journalist. What *does* exist is footage of her walking for long minutes alongside masked Arabs armed with slingshots and stones.
Why is an American journalist lingering next to terrorists during Friday and Saturday violence?
