Mevo Kana, Tzon Aviezer, and Kfar Ro’im: The Next Project to Block the Palestinian state
by Elisha Yered, Activist for the Settlement of Eretz Yisrael
Marking 33 years since the Oslo Accords, this article highlights the strategic significance of the eastern Kana Bloc (center of above picture with the 3 Jewish communities) in Samaria.
Yasser Arafat secured a last minute concession, a territorial corridor between Yitzhar and Emmanuel, connecting the Shechem–Jenin and Salfit–Ramallah blocs into a continuous Palestinian territory.
To counter this, local hilltop activists have strengthened three Jewish outposts—Mevo Kanah, Tzon Aviezer, and Kfar Ro’im—severing the connection between the two Palestinian areas.
Despite facing harsh living conditions and infrastructure challenges over the past year, the initiative faces a critical “make-or-break” moment. An emergency campaign has been launched to build essential infrastructure, including paved roads, water lines, and solar power systems, to secure long-term Jewish presence along the ridge.
