Police Accused of Fabricating Stone-Throwing Claims
Commentary by Elisha Yered, Activist for the Resettling of Eretz Yisrael

For the second time in two weeks, the police spokesperson has spread the false narrative of “stone-throwing at the forces” when no such incident occurred. The previous case involved the confiscation of a shepherds’ village flock—an event that I witnessed myself from start to finish.
The tactic is simple and dishonest: a non-violent road blockage with objects (and sometimes stones), exactly as happened dozens of times in leftist Kaplan demos in Tel Aviv.

Without any official statements or arrests, a police report is twisted into claims of stone-throwing at officers—a violent, life-threatening act that never took place. One recent police statement even read: “Due to the throwing of stones at police officers, a truck was towed that is suspected of having been used by the rioters in Kusra.”

I challenge the Shai District spokesperson to release the camera footage of the alleged stone-throwing from both events. The junctions are filmed from every angle; extracting and publishing the video should take no more than 15 minutes if it is really there. We are all waiting for an update.
