*Hilltop Pioneers Do Not Despair!*

*“I have permission to destroy everything — including the property,”* boasted a Border Police officer last night during the brutal demolition in Givat Tal Talpiot, Binyamin.
A moment later, the bulldozer began tearing down the house with its steel blade. The baby’s crib, the parents’ beds, the children’s trampoline, chairs, blankets, and clothes — everything was crushed and buried in the dirt.
*“Cover it, cover it more, deep in the ground,” the Civil Administration officer ordered the Arab tractor driver.*
They’ve clearly learned lessons from previous operations. *Under cover of night and fog, police pushed the families back, hoping no one would be able to document the destruction by morning.*
One of the families was blessed with a second daughter just days ago. *After being discharged from the hospital, they now have no home to return to.*
This morning I arrived at the site. On top of the hill, I met strong, determined families taking a short coffee break before beginning to rebuild. Their children stood on the mound of rubble that was once their home, trying to salvage their damaged trampoline from the ruins.
*The path of redemption is difficult, but the day is not far off when a new settlement will rise here once again.*
