The Demolition of 26 illegal Arab structures
In recent weeks the IDF, directed by Minister Bezalel Smotrich, has conducted extensive demolitions of illegal Arab structures built after the 2005 Disengagement along Highway 60 toward Sa-Nur and Highway 6010 leading to Ganim and Kadim. These houses violated a long-standing military construction ban meant to safeguard traffic routes and had stood unenforced for two decades.
This morning the Civil Administration demolished 26 illegal Arab structures near Ganim and Kadim in an operation ordered by Smotrich ahead of the communities’ resettlement. Families are expected to move onto the sites this week, more than 20 years after the two northern Samaria settlements were evacuated under the Disengagement plan.
