WARNING: Media “Production” Ahead: Olive Harvest Set to Become “Election Season” Amid Rising Provocations

I expect the upcoming Arab olive harvest season in Judea and Samaria, set to begin in about two weeks, to become a highly politicized “election harvest” beyond the usual terrorism incidents.
The left-wing camp has identified the “settler violence” narrative as a key election issue and is likely to escalate staged, media-friendly provocations in the coming weeks. The aim is to generate images that can be used against the right in the campaign. The harvest provides an ideal setting, as it allows Arabs and anarchists access deep into settlements, hills, and farms.
This year I expect the number of anarchists and known Palestinian Authority rioters to grow dramatically. I urge security forces to remove leading agitators from the area for the duration, as they routinely do with young settlers, and advise ordinary citizens to treat the flood of biased media reports as a staged political production rather than objective reality.
