Terror Cell from Al-Mughayyir Strikes Again: Another Flock Poisoned; Farm Workers Fight to Save Affected Goat — and Followup
Elisha Yered reported a recent poisoning attack on a Jewish farm near Al-Mughayyir in the Alon Road region, where perpetrators scattered poison-laced bread on grazing land. Farm staff rushed to administer antidotes to the goat displaying severe symptoms. This incident is part of a broader series of more than five similar livestock poisonings linked to an active cell.
Arab sources took Yered’s photo of a poisoned goat and circulated it with claims that Jewish shepherds were poisoning Arab herds. These lies can be compared to historical antisemitic blood libels.
Nevertheless, Israeli public media outlets (Kan and Army Radio) echo the Arab claims. Yered called on Israel’s defense establishment, including the Shin Bet and the Judea and Samaria Central Crime Unit, to step in and treat the poisonings as major terror attacks.
