Bluth’s excuse of limited manpower

By MK Limor Son Har-Melech, Deputy Speaker of the Knesset

While residents of Judea and Samaria suffer daily terrorism, and while Central Command is being told that forces are so limited they cannot carry out offensive operations against the enemy, Major General Avi Bluth somehow repeatedly finds the troops needed to demolish buildings on frontline hilltops.

Last night a demolition took place, and forces were already at another site preparing for yet another one. On top of that, in a scandalous move, those same forces were assigned to protect “farmers” from the murderers’ village of al-Mughayyir along the Alon Road — the very place where my husband, Shuli Har-Melech (may G-d avenge his blood), was murdered.

So which is it? Resources are too limited when it comes to fighting the enemy, but suddenly become available when forces are needed against the settlements?
