Unrestrained Police Brutality, a Recent Harsh Testimony: Yitzhak
Yitzhak, a boy of about 13, attended a protest at the junction near the settlement of Shiloh in Binyamin after a reserve soldier was kidnapped by Palestinian Authority forces. He soon found himself the target of severe violence.
During the demonstration, security forces arrived and attempted to disperse the participants by force. An Arab police officer chased Yitzhak, ordered him to turn off his camera, and began beating him without restraint.
Yitzhak later described the incident: “He told me to turn off the camera and threw me into the police car. He turned off the cameras of the soldiers standing next to him and simply started beating me inside the vehicle—fists to the face, slaps, and blows to the hands. I still have pain all over my body and a bruise on one of my shoulders.”
