Stick, Punches, and Kicks: Jewish Teen Attacked During Olive-Harvest Provocation
Olive-harvest provocations by the group “Looking the Occupation in the Eye” escalated yesterday near Michtam LeDavid farm in Samaria. Around 9:30 a.m., activists—including foreign participants and media—arrived at Burin for a staged harvest event.
After the army removed them, they moved to the farm securing Alon Road near Duma. There, according to residents, they opened a security barrier with local Arabs.
An Arab woman then provoked a Jewish teen in front of cameras; when he resisted, several anarchists attacked him with punches, kicks, and a stick blow to the face, and stole his phone. The phone was later found hidden in a rolled-up harvest tarp.
The teen sustained facial bruises. Police arrested two activists. Such provocations are expected to intensify ahead of the elections.
